Oh 2024. We started out so strong! We had systems in place, we were getting all the inquiries, sending all the quotes…but then life happened. And a lot had to be put on the shelf until the inferno that was going on around me died down to a small smolder.

This girl. This winter. I'm glad it's done, I don't ever want a repeat - but you never know with kids!
No need to go into crazy detail, but we were hit HARD with the illnesses, one after another, barely any breaks, and weeks upon weeks of missed school for this little one. (I think when I added it up, she only attended 4 weeks total since the end of Jan until now...😳)
But today, we took some steps to hopefully prevent another winter like this one. She was a champ, charming everyone, and handled it like it was nothing. We are so proud of her.
But in all honesty, I don't think I would have even been able to get to this point without the unwavering support of a few people.

💜 My mother Debi - THANK YOU. Unfortunately, they do not make the font big enough to show you just how much you are loved and appreciated. Dropping everything, rearranging your schedule, going to Dr's appointments, and just being there when big hugs were needed. No questions asked, you were just there week after week. You truly are a Saint. And I love you.

💜 My FIL and MIL Mary - THANK YOU! Thank you,Thank you for all the extra days that you took on, all while dealing with EVERYTHING you were dealing with. Rearranging your appointments, and travel schedule to accommodate us, and juggling other family members who also needed you. I love you more than I can express and I'm unbelievably appreciative for everything that you do - not just these past few months, but always. I love you.

💜 My husband - Thank you for being my true partner in all of this. You are my favorite.

But more importantly: here's to a healthy future my little love! We're so excited to deal with a normal amout of illness for a little bit.😂❤️
