So, in 2001, he made it official, opening the doors of his first general contracting company. Since then, he has gained a wealth of experience in all areas of construction and began specializing in commercial projects, working with a variety of clients, including retail, franchises, offices, non-profits, churches, and small businesses. Although he enjoys being a general contractor, Jim has been disappointed with the less than positive reputation of the profession, so he and his wife, Melissa, resolved to build a business that was committed to making that reputation a thing of the past. 90 Degree Construction is the result of that commitment. Ultimately, their vision for 90 Degree was to put the trust back into commercial contracting.
