Step into the shadows of The Castle - Marietta, Oh on a lantern-lit guided tour and discover the ghostly legends that linger within its halls. Hear chilling tales of unexplained sounds, mysterious sightings, and eerie experiences reported by staff, volunteers, and guests through the years. Who knows—you may even encounter something unexpected yourself.

Ghost Tours begin every 15 minutes and last approximately 45 minutes.

🍂 The 37th Annual Little Muskingum Watershed Assoc. Fall Foliage Tour is the perfect excuse to take a drive along State Route 26 and enjoy the changing colors of Washington County.

Follow the route north with stops at the Washington County Home, Hidden Hills Orchard, Wonder of Woods, Hune House, multiple covered bridges and more, before reaching the Little Muskingum Watershed Association at mile marker 22.

Once you arrive, enjoy food, tractor pulls, a craft show and raffles throughout the weekend.

Join The Castle - Marietta, Oh for Third Thursdays: “Opening the Door West” on Thursday, October 15, for a free screening and presentation exploring the Ohio Company of Associates and the founding of Marietta, the first legal American settlement in the Northwest Territory.

The documentary brings the story to life through historians, historical reenactors, period artwork and filming locations, followed by a presentation from producer Ellen Shelburne and historical consultant Bill Reynolds.
