This chilly 🥶 day has me reminiscing of my time in Curacao 🇨🇼 a month ago. I completely fell in love 🥰 with this special island 🏝️.

The largest of the Netherlands Antilles, it definitely has the most European flavor, evident by the brightly colored Dutch colonial buildings.

And as with most Caribbean islands, Curacao has beautiful water and is an obvious choice for snorkeling 🤿 and diving, but it’s also one of our favorite places to send our foodie clients and art enthusiasts.

So many reasons to make Curacao your next vacation destination!

Let’s talk about the culinary 🥘 experiences at Baoase. The food is truly beyond amazing!

A few nights of the week are “themed” nights at their Sunset Deck - reservations required. In our short time there, we had the opportunity to partake in Indian 🇮🇳 night and Italian 🇮🇹 night. And y’all - the butter chicken on Indian night. 🤤 Out of this world! I forgot to take a pic. I devoured it. Both evenings were fabulous! And the table scapes were gorgeous.

If you consider yourself a foodie, or you want the assurance of good food when you travel, Baoase and Curacao in general are guaranteed to please your palate!

Wish I could send you there to experience it for yourself. Oh wait… 🤔

Just returned from another fantastic family getaway to the Dominican Republic. More on that at a later time. For now, let's chat about why the summer☀️is a great time to travel to this beautiful destination.
Although considered the "hurricane season", due to its mountainous landscape, the Dominican Republic is usually well protected, and at most you will get rain 🌧️ on some days, which can be quite refreshing.
The sea 🌊 calms down during the summer and makes for a great way to see some hidden beaches.
Summer is also a great time to visit the Jarabacoa region which is the DR's "local alps", 🏔️ and perfect for white water rafting and canyoning, as well as hikes in beautiful greenery.
