Did you know we do exterior displays too? Last fall we took down banners on the outside of the Mason County Historical Society Research Center and installed new framework and new banners. We have also installed dimensional text, etched glass donor displays, and various other custom outdoor signage for previous clients. If your building or grounds need some refreshing, email us to see how we can help give you a fresh new look!

We do trade show work too! We put this display together for Super Sled Online last fall. The three back walls are printed fabric graphics stretched on freestanding LED light-box frames to give them a great color boost and eye-catching quality. A monitor stand is integrated in the center wall to provide a space for video display. We also came up with a cut-vinyl rendition of the company logo for use on a coffee table in their conversation area, and some contour-cut info graphics to show off their custom sleds. We can build your display and crate it for shipping to multiple events, or help source rental equipment if you only need it for a single show. Contact us today to find out what we can produce for you!

We don't just do museum and trade show work! We specialize in custom fabrication for almost any space, and we work hard to bring your vision to life. For this project, we provided some 3D design support, but worked off of the owner's vision for Did It My Way Detroit Wine & Cigar Bar. We built the bar, complete with mahogany wood paneling, brass foot rails, and an under-lit quartz bar top. We also built over 150 member lockers to line one wall of the seating area. Each features a 3-digit code lock. Behind the bar you'll see the LED-lit bottle display we built, and up above the seating area, you can see the custom wine cellar with LED back-lit wine rack. This was a fun project to get out of our usual exhibit mode and help create a lush environment for patrons to enjoy a drink and cigar. Whether it is a commercial or residential space, we can help turn a space into an experience. Contact us today to see what we can do for you!

Small updates can be a great value! This is another update we did recently for the Gillette Visitor Center at Hoffmaster State Park. The ant lion exhibit was still going strong, but needed some refreshing. We resurfaced the entire base, updated the paint on the ant lion model, and installed two new monitors with a new video to show how the ant lion sets its trap. This gave a fresh face to a great exhibit, and will keep it going for many years to come.

Projects with an impact! This was an extension of an existing exhibit at the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame. This interactive touchscreen contains information about all the inductees and other award winners at the Hall of Fame. The original installation is in their museum at the White Pine Village in Ludington, which was followed by a satellite installation at the Historical Society's Research Center downtown. These three panels were added this summer, one at each Mason County high school. Each features a custom graphic highlighting the school's mascot and colors. We produce all the screen graphics for these interactives, along with programming and display fabrication, and we work with the Hall of Fame each year to update the programming to include the new inductees and award winners. Send us a message to see what we can develop for your next project!

"Small but mighty" was the objective for the interactive touchscreen we recently installed at the Cascade Historical Society. They needed an exhibit that could give visitors a look at local businesses and buildings through the years, and we delivered! We assisted with content development, and produced all the screen graphics for this project, along with programming and hardware. Visitors start with a map of the Cascade area, and can tap on various addresses to see what was there "then" and what is there "now." Call us today to see what we can put together for your next project!

"Captain Bill Pinkney: Breaking Barriers with Commitment" was installed at the Chicago Maritime Museum at the same time as the Lady Elgin exhibit late last spring. Content development and graphic design were handled by our partners at Lafferty VanHeest & Associates, while we handled 3D design and interactive development. The exhibit is about Bill Pinkney, the first African-American man to circumnavigate the world, and features a large world map showing his route and ports of call along his journey. When a visitor selects a video clip on the screen, the featured port of call lights up. Another set of buttons light different portions of his route. Other exhibit highlights include videos made by Bill during his journey and a touchscreen interactive. Have an idea for an interactive for your exhibit? Contact us today and let us know how we can help you!

"Lady Elgin: Treasures From the Shipwreck" is an exhibit we worked on in conjunction with our partners at Lafferty VanHeest & Associates for the Chicago Maritime Museum. Lafferty handled curatorial work and graphic design, we handled 3D design, fabrication, and artifact installation. The exhibit is installed in a transitional space, so it has divider walls that swivel out of the way when the museum needs to open the space for presentations and gatherings. It also features a "mystery artifacts" display that has digital reveal screens to identify the objects in a custom display case that fits around an architectural column in the exhibit space. A large display case with a backlit graphic wall highlights the shipwreck diving aspect of the story, and a few videos and a touch screen interactive help tell the tragic story of this shipwreck. Contact us to find out how we can help tell your story in a way that maximizes your gallery space!

Projects come in all shapes and sizes. "Wanderlust: Ada Artist Kreigh Collins" is a small temporary exhibit we designed for the Ada History Center and installed back in February. Exhibit content was provided by museum staff and we did the graphic design. The paintbrush prop in the center of the exhibit was created using a piece the museum already had, and adding a paintbrush head made by a high school student as a volunteer project for this exhibit. Kreigh Collins was a painter and comic strip creator--stop in at the museum to learn more about his work! If you have a project idea, big or small, send us a message and let us help you bring it to life!
