Most of our guest stays are for a week or less. But late this summer, we had guests from Florida who were looking to escape the heat 🔥 who stayed for a full month. At the end of their stay, the guest texted me and said, “I felt right at home.”

Fun Fall Fact: 🍎Apples are the only fruit that you can pick in the fall season in western North Carolina.

It's pumpkin season, too. And yes, a pumpkin is a fruit.🎃 Come on out to one of the local family farms where you'll find different sizes, colors and textures. Think beyond your normal orange pumpkin from the store. 🧡🍁🍂

It's that time of year again! Monarch butterflies will be flying south through Great Smoky Mountains National Park on their way to Mexico. Come meet our very own butterfly park ranger who can answer all your butterfly questions!

A free event will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Sugarlands Visitor Center. All are welcome to join for activities, information about butterfly tagging, and helpful hints for how to support our fluttering friends!
