I LEFT THE COUNTRY FOR A STARBUCKS RUN. 😭☕️🚢

BRB going on a Starbucks run…

AT SEA.

No car.
No roads.
No drive-thru.
Just me, alone on a cruise ship, speed-walking for caffeine like it’s an Olympic sport. 💀

Because THIS is what solo cruising looks like:

You make the plans.
You pick the itinerary.
You decide when to eat.
You decide when to explore.

And apparently… you’re also the person responsible for getting yourself Starbucks. 😂

But now I need to know:

🚢 Would you go on a cruise ALONE?
☕️ Or would you need someone to come with you?

🚨 NOBODY WARNED ME THIS WOULD BE THE BEST PART OF CRUISING SOLO. 🚨🌅🚢

Girl… YOU BOOKED A CRUISE BY YOURSELF. WHAT DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN?! 😂

I booked it for the ports.
The food.
The entertainment.

And somehow I’m standing on the back of the ship at sunset, completely alone, staring at the ocean like:

🌊 “Wait… I actually LOVE my own company.”
🌅 “Nobody is asking me what I want to do next.”
🚢 “So… do I ever have to get off this ship?”

THIS is the part nobody tells you about solo cruising.

You don’t just get a vacation.

You get these weirdly magical little moments where you realize you don’t need to wait for someone else to go with you.

And apparently all it takes is one sunset, an ocean breeze, and nowhere to be for me to become emotionally attached to a cruise ship. 😂

So if you’ve been waiting for someone to go with you…

Consider this your sign to stop waiting. ✈️🚢✨

Just a solo traveler in the clouds reminding you: YOU CAN TAKE THAT TRIP. ✈️☁️

When I took my first solo trip to Disneyland, I was nervous. I didn’t suddenly become fearless—I just decided I was tired of waiting for someone else to go with me.

That one spontaneous trip became the beginning of my solo-travel journey… and honestly? It changed my life. 🥹✨

So here are 3 things I wish I knew before I started traveling solo:

✨ Start small. Your first solo adventure doesn’t have to be halfway around the world.
✨ Being scared doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go. Sometimes fear is just proof that you’re stepping outside your comfort zone.
✨ Stop waiting for someone else. If there’s somewhere you want to go, you don’t have to put your dreams on hold until someone can come with you.

Because sometimes the trip you’re most nervous about becomes the trip that changes everything. 🌎💫
