The countdown is on! Registration for the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Downtown Maysville closes June 29 at midnight. This is your final week to get your team together and get signed up!

Just $180 per team! That's only $45 per player for a four-person team to compete in one of the most recognized 3-on-3 basketball tournaments in the country.

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Simon Kenton Festival, Old Washington is celebrating its rich history with a truly special piece of local artwork.

The official 2026 Simon Kenton Festival poster and commemorative T-shirt design have been created by local artist Ken Swinson using a traditional woodcut technique. Inspired by the craftsmanship and heritage that have long defined Old Washington, the design honors five decades of one of Kentucky's most beloved historic festivals.

Each festival T-shirt will be hand printed from Ken's original woodcut, making every shirt a unique work of art and a collectible keepsake from this milestone year.

T-shirts will be available for purchase during the Simon Kenton Festival on September 19 & 20 in Old Washington, Kentucky. Proceeds from shirt sales will help fund a future community improvement project in Old Washington, ensuring that this celebration of the past also invests in the future.

The Maysville Gus Macker is bringing even more excitement to Downtown Maysville with two special skill competitions and over $2,000 in prize money up for grabs!

🏀 Gus Macker Slam Dunk Contest
Open to all registered tournament players, the Slam Dunk Contest gives competitors the chance to showcase their best high-flying dunks in front of a panel of judges. Bring your creativity, athleticism, and showmanship to the rim for a chance to take home a $1,000 Cash Prize!

🏀 Gus Macker Free Throw Challenge
Step to the line and test your consistency for a chance to become a champion! Contestants will shoot until they miss, with the longest streak in each division winning. (Entry is just $1 per attempt (3 shots))

Divisions: Ages 10 & Under, Ages 11–17, and Ages 18 & Up

Each Free Throw Champion will receive: Championship Trophy, $300 Cash Prize, and a FREE Team Entry into the 2027 Gus Macker Tournament
