We all love Mazama, the North Cascades & the Methow Valley. That’s why many of us live here, some have second homes and many folks like to visit. Unfortunately, now is not the time. For the tourists, now is not the time to be one, we have very limited medical resources and limited essential supplies, and many businesses are closed or providing very limited services. For you second home owners, coming and going from your primary residence to your second home only adds impact and potentially increases transmission of COVID-19. We appreciate you all as a vital part of our community year-round. Mazama and the Methow will still be here when this is over but for now we don’t need the additional burden that is being brought upon us by tourism and second home owners. Please, do you part to slow the spread of Coronavirus, stay home, social distance, and come visit once this is over. Thank you for keeping the Methow safe!
