Is your driver's license / state issued ID in compliance? Most of us who are in GA have had a REAL ID for quite some time now.

How do you know if you have a REAL ID or not? Look for a Black or Gold star in the upper right corner of your current id.

If you see the star, you're good. If not, be sure to get to the DMV prior to May 7, 2025

Wondering if you qualify for online passport renewal? Here are the key requirements:
✅The passport you are renewing is/was valid for 10 years, and you are age 25 or older.
✅ Your passport is either expiring within one year or has expired less than five years ago.
✅ You live in the United States (either state or territory).
✅ Your most recent passport is in your possession and was never reported as lost or stolen.
✅ You are comfortable paying online and uploading your own passport photo.

Q: How long does it currently take to get a passport?

A: Processing times are currently 4-6 weeks for routine processing and 2-3 weeks for expedited processing (for an extra fee). Remember to apply/renew early to avoid last-minute travel stress.

After 54 years of not charging for the first 2 checked bags, Southwest just dropped a MAJOR announcment. NO MORE FREE Checked bags for CERTAIN fare types.

Here's what you need to know......

*Update to Checked Baggage Policy*

- Rapid Rewards A-List Members AND Business Select Fares will continue receiving the 2-free checked bags benefit.

- A-List Members and other select customers will be offered (1) Free Checked bag.

- Rapid Rewards Credit Card holders who pay for their checked bags with the credit card will receive a credit for (1) checked bag.

These changes apply to flights book on or after May 28, 2025

Rapid Rewards earn ratio for Business Select fares has increased! The earn ratio for Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus has been lowered.

Beginning May 28, 2025, Southwest will introduce a NEW fare type, Basic Fare. This fare will offer the lowest price point and have less flexibility than their other fares.

American Airlines will give free WiFi a test run this week.

The test will be conducted on three routes: Charlotte-Raleigh Durham, Charlotte-Jacksonville and Miami-Chicago O'Hare. It will apply to both directions on those routes and will last for an unspecified timeframe.

American is always looking for ways to stay competitive with fellow carriers, according to sources from American. They are however behind a number of U.S. airlines when it comes to free WiFi.

Take a quick tour of my Sea Terrace room (8026z) on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady. Located near the aft of the ship and close to the elevators, the room is perfect for two people. While the beds are typically configured as a queen (as shown in the video) we opted for separate beds, creating an L-shape layout. There is also a tablet in the room and it controls everything! Literally. lol. The lights, the curtains, the tv…..ere’thang. Yes for technology!
