Today was the first day of school for Montour. I “retired” from the lunchroom. My health has been getting worse, and after 5 years, it was time.
However, i am still a bus monitor for Montour in the morning & afternoon. It keeps my heart full with working with the kids!!
So, today was hard & amazing at the same time.
I would like to share a poem that 3rd grader, Jack, aka my Mr. McCarrots submitted last year for a contest. It’s amazing….
Lunch is like a cage and Ms Pam holds the Key her face is like a piece of art i would hate it if she could not be with me and she’s really close to my heart she’s busy as a bee, yet her smile keeps strong way more wonderful than me and her voice is like a bird’s song i missed her in battle, i missed her face. I’m sure people tattled and the line for recess turned into a race!
Tell me that’s not the most beautiful thing you have ever read? See why i loved my kids?? I will miss them. Always. I hope i run into them along the way so they never forget me.
Ms. Pam xo
