We just shared a new story about what makes the McKenzie River so special.

Cold, clear, and spring-fed. The McKenzie is shaped by lava, aquifers, and years of underground water storage in the Cascades. It is one of the most remarkable river systems in Oregon, and one of our favorite rivers to share with guests.

Hoodoo New Years 2025/2026💙

Hoodoo will be open for our annual New Year's Eve Celebration, presented by Bigfoot Beverages and Pepsi, on Dec. 31, 2025!!

The Easy Rider lift will run 4-9 pm. No other lifts will run and uphill travel is not allowed.

The lodge will be open 3:30 pm – midnight, with live music by Leroy and the Sidekicks, plus lots of food and beverage specials. Our annual fireworks show will start about 9:20 pm.

Guests can purchase and pick up season passes. The Hoodoo Powder Shoppe and Rentals shop will both be open as well for all your needs!

Join us for an amazing family-friendly atmosphere for New Year’s Eve. Non-skiing guests are welcome to come hang out in the lodge and enjoy the free live music.

Hoodoo will be closed Jan. 1 and onward until more snow falls. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
