We enjoyed exploring some of the area's scenic trails, where every turn offered beautiful mountain views, peaceful forests, rushing streams, and plenty of opportunities to stop and take it all in. Whether you're looking for an easy walk or a more challenging hike, there's a trail for every skill level.

Spending time in nature was one of our favorite parts of the trip, and it reminded us to slow down and appreciate the incredible beauty all around us. If you're visiting Blue Ridge, be sure to pack a good pair of hiking shoes—you won't regret it! 🏔️🌿💚

🍎 Looking for fun things to do in Blue Ridge? These two spots were definitely worth the visit!

🍏 Mercier Orchards – This family-owned orchard is a must-see! Whether you're shopping for fresh apples, homemade fried pies, cider, jams, baked goods, or unique gifts, there's something for everyone. We loved browsing the market and couldn't leave without picking up a few delicious treats to take home!

⛳ 2nd Story Entertainment – Such a fun place to spend an afternoon! We had a blast playing indoor mini golf, and there are plenty of other games and activities to keep everyone entertained. It's a great option for families, couples, or anyone looking for a little friendly competition.

🚂 One of the highlights of our Blue Ridge vacation was riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway!

The train winds through the beautiful North Georgia mountains and follows the Toccoa River, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, and it was such a relaxing way to take in the area's natural beauty. 🍃💙

Our destination was the charming twin towns of McCaysville, Georgia, and Copperhill, Tennessee—where you can literally stand with one foot in Georgia and the other in Tennessee! We spent a few hours strolling through the unique shops, grabbing a bite to eat, and soaking in the small-town charm before hopping back on the train for the return trip.

If you're planning a visit to Blue Ridge, I highly recommend adding the scenic railway to your itinerary. It's a fun, relaxing experience and a wonderful way to see the mountains from a different perspective. 🚂🏔️❤️

One of the best parts of our trip to Blue Ridge was discovering so many delicious local spots! Here are a few of our favorites:

🍽️ Southern Charm – If you're craving classic Southern comfort food, this is the place! From homestyle favorites to warm hospitality, every meal felt like home.

🍦 Appalachian Rolled Ice Cream – Such a fun treat! Watching the ice cream being made right in front of you is part of the experience, and the flavors were absolutely delicious.

🥞 Pete's Place – One of our favorite breakfast stops! The food was fresh, hearty, and the perfect way to start a day of exploring Blue Ridge. Great service and generous portions made it easy to see why it's a local favorite.

🍭 The Sweet Shoppe – A must-stop if you have a sweet tooth! Homemade fudge, chocolates, candies, and other tasty treats made it impossible to leave empty-handed.

☕ The Yellowphant Café – This cozy café was perfect for breakfast or lunch. Fresh ingredients, delicious coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a spot we'd happily visit again.

🐝 Bumblebee's Café – Another great breakfast and brunch spot! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with friendly smiles. It was the perfect way to start the day before exploring Blue Ridge.
