Liz, a McKinney, TX based travel agent specializing in Disney® destination Vacations, was born and raised in Whittier, CA. She moved to the DFW area after earning her Elementary Education Certification and has planted her roots in McKinney. Liz is the wife to Carlos, an accountant, and mother to 2 mouseketeers. Liz first visited Disneyland and Walt Disney as a young girl with her family, and has been visiting the parks ever since. During the many family trips she experienced, she knew she wanted to one day be married at Disney. After meeting her prince, her dream became a reality and they got married in the Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Liz and her husband now book various trips throughout the year, and are now experiencing the Disney magic with their son every year! Liz became a travel agent so that she can share the magic of Disney with others through the wonder and excitement of a Disney vacation of their own.

✨The Magic of Disney Animation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is such a huge area! It opened on September 14th, 2026. Here’s everything I saw before it officially opened!

🐶There are so many hidden character statues scattered around the entire area, and you can meet so many character in the open grass area as well!

🤩Looks like there will be a studio store and a large viewing area to take a closer look inside of Disney animation.

🤱🏻The Baby Care Center is located to the far left side of the area in front of the bathrooms. It is even bigger than it was before! It has tables and soft seats to sit at, coloring pages and crayons, a tv playing, a toilet room, nursing room, and a large diaper changing room with about 5-6 changing tables.

Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas is a GREAT place for kids and adults to just be kids! Forget all the negative comments you’ve been reading, everyone who goes here is happy, laughing, and having a blast! This is a kids park, and it’s so special to have a Universal park not 20 minutes from where I live.

So many have asked about shade. There is a lot of shaded areas. When you take the kids to the play areas, show areas, restaurants, and waiting in line for the rides, there is always shade. I never felt like there was a huge lack of shade in this park and never felt overheated from it.

I feel like it’s geared towards 10 and younger, but kids a little older could really enjoy it as well, like the rollercoasters and the Shrek splash pad area is definitely geared towards older kids because of the water bucket that dumps water.

As a mom I love the park for my kids! They love the splash pad areas and if we came just for that, I’d happily get an annual pass just for it. As a theme park goer, I love it! I would go by myself or with my husband to enjoy the park if I could.
