Some of y'all remember me selling my SeaArk and buying an old 86 Crestliner. Y'all also know I like customizing my boat for how I fish. Well, she's almost there.

Its an old 18 foot 86 Crestliner Nordic with a Mercury 135 that I've built into a fantastic boat.

I stripped out almost all the plywood, all the carpet and trash, then rebuilt it using aluminum plate. Then a began adding custom touches like a Hummingbird 1199 CI HD, 10 rod holders with 2 of them on downriggers, removable bait/livewell system, gaming chairs replaced original seats, interior and exterior LED lights, snap in place tent/mosquito net cover for night fishing, and she will hit 55MPH.

I'm kinda proud of the River Kat 2.0. Hard work pays off. Not bad for what started out as a $1,200 boat. 🔥

Little upgrades to the new rig. These are much more comfortable than your typical boat seats.

Welcome to River Kat Adventures. A unique page that began as a page for guided trips. Now it's a page where no "guided" trips are offered. I do what I call tag along trips letting folks follow along, see where and how I fish, and join along to create adventures together. I now focus my efforts in education of people about our river systems, conversation efforts, and the use and enjoyment of the resources.

If you love nature, join the Arkansas Catfishing Association group on Facebook to help get this stopped.

When you find that the fishing is going downhill fast in waters that were always great fishing, blame commercial fishermen using nets where it's legal. They are destroying our inland rivers. Together, we are focused on stopping the exploitation of our rivers for commercial purposes with nets. Tell the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission that it's time to manage our rivers to benefit over 430,000+ families over the 1353 licensed commercial fishermen in Arkansas.

Here, we're over 1000 voices strong for conservation. At the Arkansas Catfishing Association, we're at 1.9K members and growing like crazy! Join the fight against commercial fishermen using nets to exploitat our rivers to the point that everyday families and sportsmen have a tough time catching dinner.
