3 generations of new BreakLiners, Emmett, his dad Justin and his Pop Pop Mike. Emmett watches catfishing on YouTube and wanted to try it. He loved reeling them in and did a great job. He said he wants to come out again, but only him and me next time, so he can catch all of them. Which still cracks me up. His dad was like, “hey??” Pop Pop Mike is used to being the captain on his pontoon in the bay. Today he got to just relax, fish and share fishing stories. Emmett didn’t want to touch the catfish. But he thorougly enjoyed playing with the baitfish. No shortage of fish or memories for these guys today. Thank you for fishing with me! Kaleb and Sarah’s little getaway from Catch The Fever headquarters to the muddy Susquehanna River! The river conditions right now made all of the fish quite fun, even the little ones. Kaleb had a 7 minute battle with his chunky channel cat on the Precision Cast Rod and 8lb Slime Line that hit his NED! That fish in this current on light tackle, whew! Sarah got her first and PB flathead!! Congratulations Sarah! With probably 20 flatheads and a bunch of channels they kept the Hellcats bent! And can’t forget the bass, although more stubborn, all of which left very little shortage of action for these two. We did find time to squeeze in a take out picnic dinner at the ramp and visit with a baby turtle. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer time with these two. Thank you so much guys! Safe travels back to NC!

Throwback Thursday! Ivan the Wels Catfisherman catching Susquehanna Smallies! And to think I didn’t answer his call from Slovakia because I didn’t think it was real?!
