🏰 Disney Hills I’ll Die On: Part 1

The All-Stars Resorts don’t deserve the hate!

Are they the fanciest resorts at Walt Disney World? No.

But they were never trying to be.

What they are is colorful, fun, unapologetically Disney, and often one of the most affordable ways to stay inside the Disney bubble.

I think there’s something special about walking past giant Disney icons, joining a pool party after a park day, and watching kids experience that larger-than-life Disney magic for the first time!

Not every family needs a Deluxe Resort. Not every vacation calls for luxury. Sometimes the best resort is simply the one that helps make the trip possible.

So yes, I’ll happily defend the All-Stars. Every. Single. Time. 👏🏼

Physically: working in the ICU 🏥

Mentally: dancing along to live music in Animal Kingdom 🌿🎶

I truly love what I do, but between the emotional weight of ICU nursing and chasing after one-year-old twins, having something exciting on the calendar matters.

A safari ride, a drink, and a dance party at Animal Kingdom is about as perfect as it gets.

I’m especially excited because this upcoming trip is hosted by Disney, and I’ll get to experience Cool Kids Summer firsthand along with lots of other surprises Disney has in store for us!

Disney officially kicked off Cool Kids Summer today, and they did not hold back

New entertainment. More character experiences. Extra kid-focused fun throughout the parks and select resorts… and honestly? Summer at Disney is looking really good for families right now!

And while that absolutely can be magical for the right family… it’s not the only way to do Disney

Disney Cruise Line feels like Disney decided to make “actually relaxing” part of the itinerary 🛳️ ✨

You still get the incredible service, entertainment, characters, theming, and little details Disney does so well… but with ocean views, slower mornings, rotational dining, private islands, adults-only spaces, kids clubs, pools, spas, and way less logistical chaos

And for families who want an even more elevated experience? Options like concierge-level staterooms or private cabana rentals can take things to a whole different level

Thursday night was one of those moments that made me more excited for this journey ✨

Getting to sit down with our Business Development Manager for strategy, education, and all things Disney was such an incredible opportunity. Being surrounded by a team that shares the same enthusiasm for helping families experience it has been so inspiring already 🏰

We talked Disney Cruise Line, Disney World’s Cool Kid’s Summer, and started getting even more excited for our familiarization next month. And honestly? One of the biggest take aways for me was seeing just how much support exists behind the scenes!
