After 60 years and 24,000 hrs of flying I’m hanging up the headset and this is my last post to this page. Had the opportunity to fly 187 aircraft from jets to the original Taylor Cub, helicopters, gyrocopters, gliders and hot air balloons. Adventures include taking a glider up to FL250, flown Florida to Alaska in a SuperCup floatplane and several high performance military and experimental aircraft. Built/modified 5 experimental aircraft. In those decades of flying think I’ve had every emergency imaginable from engine and gear failures to total electrical failure at night and airborne fires. Lot of memories, good and bad, and will leave this page up to chronicle some of those adventures.
