Throwback Thursday — Earlier this year, our team at National Marine & Diving had the opportunity to support Discovery Cove with critical repairs to their dolphin medical bay pools.

The pool floors were not functioning as designed, requiring immediate diagnostic and repair efforts. Our team began by deploying an inspection ROV (underwater drone) to assess the condition of the lift floor safety cables and associated hardware.

After confirming the safety cable systems were fully operational, the floors were raised to allow diver access. Our dive team then conducted a full subsurface inspection beneath the platforms, evaluating hydraulic cylinders, structural hardware, and supply hoses.

Repairs were successfully completed in two pools, restoring full operational functionality to the system.

We appreciate the trust placed in our team and want to thank the outstanding staff at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment for the opportunity to assist. We look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.
