Hi again for the first time in a while. My dog and best friend of almost 18 years (17 years 9 months and 1 day) crossed the rainbow bridge a couple weeks shy of her 18th birthday, and I’ve honestly felt like happiness was so far away.
Today I knew it was time to open my account up and get back to life and in all the irony of the universe, this was what I had scheduled to post for today.
And honestly, no trip to Walt Disney World could ever bring me the joy she did, but it’s what I’ve found myself looking forward to most as I’ve been dealing with grief of her loss for the last couple of weeks. Being with friends in a place that always feels like home. So, I’ll keep planning trips for myself and for my clients, because sometimes finding happiness is just a choice we have to make, and because we can carry happiness and grief at the same time.
