Our 3rd Day of Ireland Cycling 🚴🏽♀️🚴🏾♂️ took us to Kilfenora, the “City of Seven Crosses,” home to a sixth-century monastery. We explored the Burren Centre, St. Fachtnan’s Cathedral, and admired the stunning 12th-century Celtic crosses.
The ride itself was pure magic ✨—rolling hills lined with lush countryside, ancient stone walls, medieval churches, and even Neolithic tombs leading us to Corcomroe Abbey. This striking cross-shaped abbey, once home to Cistercian monks for nearly 400 years, was the perfect stop before our private coach carried us to Galway.
We wrapped up the day wandering through Galway’s colorful streets and lively Eyre Square—a perfect mix of history and fun energy! ✨🇮🇪
