Then Disney announced a closing date for Carousel of Progress. 🎡

Art of Animation revealed plans for a major refurbishment. 🏨

Star Wars Launch Bay got a big transformation announcement. 🎨

Several Disney Springs food trucks were headed for the history books. 🌮

And Disney rolled out a major update to the My Disney Experience app. 📱

In other words... it was just another day in the world of Disney! 😆

One of the things I love most about being a travel advisor is keeping up with all the changes, updates, and news happening behind the scenes. Disney is always evolving, and there's always something new to discover.

🚨✨ BREAKING DISNEY NEWS ✨🚨

One of the most beloved attractions in Magic Kingdom is officially getting a MAJOR refurbishment! 🎉

Disney has announced that Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress will temporarily close on July 6, 2026 for its biggest overhaul in decades. Reports say the attraction will receive updated scenes, refreshed technology, and even a brand-new Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic figure! 😮✨

The classic Sherman Brothers song “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is expected to stay — because honestly… it just wouldn’t be the same without it. 💙

Disney says the refreshed attraction is expected to reopen sometime in 2027. Fans are already buzzing because this is one of the last attractions Walt Disney personally helped create for the 1964 World’s Fair.

And now I have to ask…

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you before your favorite vacation? 👀

Mine? Never wear brand-new shoes to a theme park. 😅

Over the years I’ve learned that sometimes the little things become the BIG things:

✈️ Plan earlier than you think you need to
👟 Wear comfy shoes, not the cute ones
🔋 Bring a portable charger
🌦️ Be ready for surprise weather
😴 Build in downtime
❤️ Take the pictures... but don't forget to be part of the memories
