I don’t know that I’ve ever met a person who does not LOVE Beaches and Cream! You can order a full meal from their menu, but we typically only get dessert.

The theme of the restaurant is 50s, so it feels like the Happy Days diner everytime I visit 🤣 A really popular dessert is the Kitchen Sink (see the comments). We’ve never had enough people or appetite with us to try it, but it looks delicious!

This is my first trip to the restaurant since I’ve found out that I need my diet to be yeast free (as opposed to gluten free), so I wasn’t sure if I could still order my favorite dessert.
It took a while to hear back from the chef, BUT I was able to get my brownie a la mode 🙌🏼🎉 I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been eating gluten free brownies for the past 6 years, but this one wasn’t quite as good as I remember. Sometimes they have served it to me warm but yesterday it was not brought out that way. I’m still a sucker for brownie and ice cream though, so I give it a 4/5 🤪

Judy’s personal favorite dessert is the No Way Jose (she’s a peanut butter gal). She said the brownie was a bit dry to her and gives it a 4/5 too!

OOPS. Took a wrong turn when I left work and ended up in Disneyworld 🤪🤣🙌🏼

Seriously, Juju and I are here for a quick trip to get a feel for the updated lightning lane / fast pass system ✈️

While we’re here we thought we’d review the places we are eating / sharing most of our meals! Our first stop tonight was Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe. This one is located in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. It’s been a fan favorite in the past, but has gotten some heat for their recent menu changes.

Since I have a food allergy, we can’t order just anything off the menu. We thought we’d play it safe with the Nacho Bowl. It has house fried corn tortilla chips, pinto beans, queso, pico de gallo, and a protein of choice. You can choose between steak, chicken, and pork. We went with the pork 🍴

I was a little underwhelmed, and I’m pretty easily pleased when it comes to a good queso and chicken nacho basket. It was very warm, served promptly, but I felt like there wasn’t a ton of pork / protein in it. I happened to be starving bc I hadn’t eaten anything since I clocked out this morning 🤣🤣🤣 so it did what I needed.

Judy thought the beans and chips had good flavor, but all in all, they were a little too soupy for her liking. She was also pretty hungry 🤪
