We spent the day up north in Minocqua, and my kids were SO excited to see a capybara… and a coati! 🦫🐾

I’ll admit… before our trips to Mexico, I had never even heard of a coati. 😆

But after seeing them wandering around resorts in Mexico, my kids immediately recognized them today and couldn’t stop talking about it.

One of my favorite parts about traveling with kids isn’t just the beaches or the pools—it’s watching them make connections between places they’ve visited and experiences they have later.

Travel has a funny way of making the world feel a little smaller. ❤️
