I’m so excited to share that I am officially a Certified Autism Travel Professional (CATP)!

I’m always looking for ways to expand my travel knowledge and better serve my clients, and this certification gives me additional training to help families traveling with autistic and sensory-sensitive travelers feel more comfortable and confident.

And I’m especially excited because Beaches Resorts has autism-certified team members and autism-inclusive Kids Camps!

Even better… in just a few weeks, I’ll be participating in Autism Inclusion Week at Beaches Turks & Caicos this October!

I can’t wait to experience these programs firsthand and bring even more knowledge back to my clients.

🇫🇷 Bastia, Corsica 🇫🇷

Another incredible stop aboard Emerald Sakara — today we explored Bastia on the beautiful French island of Corsica.

Bastia has such a different feel from some of our other stops. We spent the day walking through the old streets, visiting beautiful churches, seeing monuments and fountains, and getting a glimpse of everyday Corsican life. The city is full of history, colorful old buildings, narrow streets, and amazing views overlooking the Mediterranean.

One of the highlights was wandering through the local shops and discovering some of Corsica’s specialties — including the incredible selection of cured meats and charcuterie hanging from the ceilings. You definitely know you’re somewhere that takes its food seriously!

What continues to make this trip aboard Emerald Sakara so special is being able to visit destinations like Bastia. These smaller ports give you the opportunity to simply step off the yacht and explore places that feel authentic, historic, and completely different from the stop before.

Another beautiful day in the Mediterranean and another part of Corsica we’re glad we got to experience.
