Calling all comic nerds — Jackson Comics takes over The MAX this Saturday, October 17.

Grab your friends and join us for hands-on workshops led by professional comic artists, a conversation with artists moderated by Walt Grayson, a new art comic exhibition, and a live DJ set.

Tomorrow night!

Join the city of Meridian for a Celebration of Meridian’s Icon: Ken Rainey, a pioneering country music promoter whose influence stretched far beyond our local area. This special FREE night of entertainment will be headlined by Randy Houser, and feature Scott McQuaig, Emily White, Britt Gully, Lach Thornton, Ford Scharmen, Jax Moore, Daniel Houze, Grayson Culpepper, and Live Stock Band.

Prior to the show, Rainey’s star will be unveiled outside Temple Theatre at 6 p.m.

Concert time 7 – 9 p.m.

Visit Meridian welcomes evacuees traveling to our area due to Hurricane Isaias. Your safety during this difficult time is our highest priority.

As of this morning, Meridian area hotels have reached near capacity levels. We are staying in contact with hotel management in an attempt to monitor which properties still have rooms available. We cannot post an accurate list of hotels & their availabilities because those numbers are constantly changing.
