I never take it for granted that you trust me with your hard earned vacation time and your travel memories. Getting to help you plan, celebrate, explore, and make those memories is truly the best part of what I do.

My family is getting ready to board Carnival Celebration! I will be out of the office from 8/23-8/30. If we are working on a trip together, I will get back to you when I return. If you are traveling, I’ve sent you an email with who you can contact if you need help.

Tons of new announcements for Walt Disney World:
- Updates to Spaceship Earth
- A preview of a scene from the Carousel of Progress
- Naming of the new Indiana Jones and Encanto attractions at Animal Kingdom and a preview of the characters of the carousel
- Ride titles of 2 attractions in Piston Peak
- Monsteopolis will have a theater show and you’ll be able to take your Schmoopsie-poo to Harryhausen’s! We also got a rendering of the roller coaster.
- The official title of Villains Land is: Villains Land and there will be a Maleficent roller coaster, an underwater boat ride with Ursula and then Cruella de Vil will also have an attraction!

And the Dreamfinder is returning to Figment!!!!

That covers Walt Disney World. There were also details about the Avengers Campus expansion, an retheming of Tomorrowland at Disneyland, the new Coco boat ride, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, Believe, and updates overseas to Space Mountain in Paris and Japan as well as a few others.

It was a great night and I’m most excited about Figment!

Announcements I would love to hear tonight:

1) Bringing back IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. None of the recent EPCOT shows hit the same.

2) Figment. I want more and I want him to have the ride he deserves.

3) Openings timeframes for things announced at D23 in 2024. Monster’s Inc? Tropical Americas? Piston Peak? Avatar and expanded Avenger’s Campus on the west coast? I don’t even need it to be specific: Coming Summer 2027 works for me!

4) Villains Land. I saw the trees but I’d love to hear ride ideas or ideas for restaurant themes. I know it’s a long ways away but I want to stay excited.

One of the things I’m looking forward to most are Disney Park updates. This morning I’m checking out the model for Piston Peak and some of the attractions coming to Animal Kingdom. Don’t worry, I took about 900 videos and they will be on the way!
