Four looong days of photoshoots ended with this little guy picking me a flower mid-shoot. I thanked him for his kindness with tears in my eyes. He asked if I was going to cry over a flower (it’s me, of course I am). As we got him set up in his next pose he told me that we all have buckets on our heads. They’re invisible. Some are full and some are empty. I asked him what was in the invisible buckets and he said happiness! I asked him if my bucket was full or empty. He said “it’s full because I gave you a flower”!
These four days were filled with tons of smiles, lots of laughs and even some tears, but everyone I got to see filled my invisible bucket. I was greeted with hugs, bags of candy, bottles of coke and “Hi Miss Erika!” over and over again in tiny little voices. My job is basically hanging out with all my favorite people - it can be a lot this season. It’s a ton of pressure and nervousness that every second goes according to plan - but I am truly a lucky girl to call this my job.
This week I will see many more of you, and I’m prepping for a pretty big wedding weekend coming up. As I’ve said - thanks for all the patience and understanding as I get through everything and everyone’s session with an equal amount of luv. ♥️
