Donna (Fulton) Keefe

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna (Fulton) Keefe, 69, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on May 19, 2025, in Gilbert, AZ. Donna lived a life marked by courage, compassion, and a deep love of adventure.

Donna was known for her warmth and generosity, her incredible strength (a true warrior) and unwavering determination. She faced every challenge with grace and resilience, never backing down from the obstacles placed before her. Her willingness to live fully and fight fiercely was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

After a long career with the City of Scottsdale, she worked beside her mom and dad at Departures Travel for over 30 years. She had a passion for travel, especially cruising. Whether discovering new places or reminiscing about her journeys, Donna’s adventurous spirit always shone brightly.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Patricia Fulton. She is survived by her devoted sisters—Denise, Darlene, and Dina—as well as her cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly and who will carry her strength and memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Donna’s remarkable life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Lung Transplant Service Organization, a cause close to her heart/lungs.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered—always.

I am sad to share the news that our wonderful owner, travel advisor extraordinaire and my dear mother departed for her final heavenly destination on April 2nd, 2024.
Pat was always the best advocate for her clients and enjoyed making each vacation special and memorable. She was a champion for the travel industry that she was a part of for almost 50 years including owning and operating Departures for 35 years with Captain Jack/her late husband, daughter Donna and Cheryl.
Her kindness, irrefutable knowledge, spirit and sense of adventure will always be missed by those of us lucky enough to have worked with and for her. Lovingly remembered.

Fabulous Ago Tourism Hotel! In Europe a lot of farms have been converted to Inns and B&B's. Torre do Reos is an old mill that has been turned into a fantastic small hotel!! Wonderful place for a destination wedding, honeymoon or anniversary! Let us know if you want info. I wish the group could have stayed longer and Am so glad we got to stay here! Cheryl

On Friday, Hawaii Gov. David Ige approved Kauai Mayor Derek Kawakami’s request to rejoin the state’s “Safe Travels” program, effective April 5. The move clears the way for out-of-state visitors to again move freely about the Garden Isle immediately upon arrival with proof of a single negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the final leg of their journey.
