April & May are fantastic months to visit Mexico Beach. The beach has plenty of elbow room, the temps are practically perfect, the wait time at local restaurants is minimal and the pool/hot tub is almost always empty.

Found a whole slew of sea urchins the other day along the beach. I’ve been combing this beach for 15+ years and that was totally new for me. No idea why they all washed up. Nature is funny like that.
