Effective April 10, 2025, Brazil will reinstate the visa requirement for U.S. citizens traveling for tourism or business. To enter Brazil on or after this date, U.S., Canadian & Australian travelers must obtain an e-visa prior to arrival. Even though the Brazilian Senate is trying to overturn this, it looks like it will most likely happen.

Apply for the e-visa through the official Brazilian government-authorized website: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com. The application process can take up to two weeks, so it's advisable to apply well in advance of your planned travel date.

November is one of the best times to travel to Cartagena, Colombia. It marks the end of the rainy season, meaning you’ll enjoy warm, tropical weather with fewer showers. The city also celebrates its independence from Spanish rule on November 11th, and the festivities typically extend for a week, with the Independence Week celebrations running from November 12 - 17.

Cartagena goes all out with parades, concerts, and street parties. It's a national holiday so locals from all over the country go there to take in the festivities so the atmosphere is electric.

Peru is a paradise for food lovers, offering a rich culinary heritage influenced by Indigenous, Spanish, African, and Asian flavors. If you're visiting Peru, here are some must-try dishes that will take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey!

1. Ceviche 🐟🌶️

Carnival happens all over Brazil. Even though Rio de Janeiro gets all the international press, Carnival in Salvador Bahia (Brazil’s Northeast) is considered one of the best by locals.

It’s a crowd participation party as parades of live bands on big, tall floats with powerful sound systems roll through the city and endless crowds of partiers follow along dancing and partying until the early morning.

If you're traveling to Argentina, you're in for a meat-lover’s paradise! 🇦🇷🥩 But ordering the perfect cut at a parrilla (steakhouse) can be tricky if you’re not familiar with the local terms. Here are some essential tips to help you get the best steak experience:

🥩 Know Your Cuts
🔥 Bife de chorizo – Juicy sirloin steak, one of the most popular choices.
🔥 Ojo de bife – Ribeye, flavorful and well-marbled.
🔥 Vacio – Flank steak, tender with a rich taste.
🔥 Asado de tira – Short ribs, slow-cooked for incredible flavor.
🔥 Entraña – Skirt steak, thin, tasty, and usually served with chimichurri.
