National Arts in Education Week | September 13–19, 2026
✨🎭
This week, we celebrate the power of the arts to inspire creativity, encourage self-expression, and help young people learn, grow, and thrive. From music and dance to visual arts and theater, the arts create opportunities for every child to discover their voice and share their unique talents.
🌟
Let’s continue to create, inspire, and express while making the arts an important part of every child’s education and future.❤️🎨

Our first workday of the season is upon us!

Please join us at the
State Senator oscar Braynon II Park at Rolling Oaks Community
Garden, this Saturday, September 19th, at 9 a.m.

We will be saying goodbye to some of our summer plants, as we transition into the fall growing season. That means we will have lots of plants for you to adopt. Workdays
are also a great opportunity to get hands-on with plants and learn how to care for them.

Volunteers will be able to earn gear for their participation on workdays. Gear will be distributed at the end of our workday. Please make sure to sign in when you arrive
to keep track of your time and earnings. Volunteer hours from last season will roll over to this season. New volunteers must complete a waiver upon arrival.

Please dress in appropriate gardening attire and bring a reusable water bottle. Light snacks and water will be available.
Bring a friend! Kids are welcome with an adult. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
No registration is required for this workday.
