As I reflect on the cohorts that have chosen LLT retreats as part of their journeys (pictured here), I think about commonalities among these amazing women and how they have propelled themselves forward.

1. Invest in themselves- self-reflection, giving time and space to do the work, going on the retreat

2. Engage in honest, thoughtful self-reflection- spend some time learning about yourself

3. Get clear about goals and priorities- clarity provides confidence and the ability to say no to things not in alignment

4. Create a lasting, supportive network and communicate with them - avoid self isolation and tell them what you want and how they can help

5. Make a plan and execute- mindful of the need to pivot sometimes

From our very first retreat, we have focused on “purpose.” And the reason why is that when we align our thoughts, words and actions with our purpose, we get unstuck. We move forward with authenticity and hold space for others to do the same. So working on finding our purpose is worthwhile work. And the cherry on top is what happens in other people. I’ve seen it first hand with our LLT retreat cohorts (pictured here) and the lasting community of support we have created together.
