While I’m definitely wishing I was wandering the alleyways of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu today, I take a little solace in knowing that next time I’m there, there will be even more new adventures to enjoy in Galaxy’s Edge!

Feeling a little nostalgic about the shutdown that was announced this morning. Some of my favorite (and weirdest) travel memories involve those big, yellow planes.

I recently saw a post on a Carnival Cruise Facebook group that I follow asking everyone about their embarkation day routine. The variety of responses SHOCKED me, because EVERYONE knows there’s only ONE correct answer:

1) Get on board
2) Visit your muster station
3) Take the closest elevator straight to the Lido deck
4) Get a drink at the Red Frog Rum Bar
5) Grab a burger at Guy’s
6) Repeat number 4 and 5

DUH! It’s not that complicated, folks!

Seriously, though, one of the best things about cruising is that you can do as much or as little as you’d like. It’s your vacation; enjoy it your way!
