Postcard from Porto 🤍💙

📍Igreja do Carmo, Porto:
Located next to the famous Fountain of the Lions and the University of Porto, the Church of Carmo, although not one of the oldest, is surprising for its architecture and its large mosaic of tiles. This large, sprawling church was very impressive and included the opportunity to go up onto the roof to see the town from above and also included a visit to the ‘Hidden House’ within the confines of the Church. Well worth a visit.

💡The building is located close to other landmarks such as Clérigos Tower, Cordoaria Gardens, and Lello Bookshop. If you’re around and you feel like having a cup of coffee there are plenty of places to choose from: Café Piolho, Café Progresso, and Luso Caffé. You’ll also be in walking distance from the Arts District.
