This weekend, as we celebrated the 10th Year Anniversary of the tours, we also honored 222 years of the creation of the Haitian Flag — a symbol of unity, freedom, strength, and pride.

From generation to generation, the blue and red, the black and red continue to remind us that our culture is powerful, our history is legendary, and our spirit is unstoppable.

Tap Tap Tours is committed to fostering learning and cultural exchange through art—uniting local and international creators. Today, we are thrilled to welcome Alex Altidor, the newest Artist-in-Residence at Tap Tap Tours. 🎨🌍

Born in Gros-Morne, Haiti in 1959, Altidor began painting at just seven years old. His work is deeply inspired by the landscapes, people, and architecture of his cultural roots. Each piece reflects the richness of Haitian heritage and the profound depth of his artistic vision.
