🥂Girlfriend trips. Honestly, my favorite kind of travel to plan. ✨

There is something so special about a group of women who've known each other for decades finally taking the trip they've been talking about forever.

Maybe it's a milestone birthday.
A retirement celebration.
An "it's been too long and life is short" kind of trip.
A few days where you laugh until you cry and come home feeling like yourself again.

I've helped plan girlfriend trips to the Douro Valley (women and wine 🟰 a perfect combination 🍷), river cruises through France and the Danube, curated Caribbean escapes, and more.

What makes these trips magical isn't just the destination. It's the design. Making sure everyone gets what they need.
That the pace works for the whole group.
That the one who always ends up organizing everything (you know who you are😅) actually gets to enjoy the trip too.

If a girlfriend trip has been in your group chat for more than six months, this is your sign. ✨

💌 DM me and let's start designing it. I promise the planning process will be just as fun as the trip itself.

🌸Japan is one of those destinations that changes people.🌸
I don't say that lightly. I've seen it happen.

Clients who go expecting beautiful temples and cherry blossoms and come home transformed. Not just by the beauty, but by the precision.
✔️The quiet.
✔️The extraordinary culture of hospitality.
✔️The way every single thing is done with intention.

There's a Japanese concept : ichi-go ichi-e . It means 'one time, one meeting'.
The idea that every encounter is unique and can never be repeated.
Travel in Japan feels like that. Every meal. Every train. Every moment in a garden.

For empty nesters who want a trip that's genuinely different, not more of Europe, but something that reaches them in an entirely new way, Japan is revelatory.

The Kyoto temples at 6am before the crowds arrive.
A ryokan experience in the Japanese Alps.
A bullet train journey.
The kind of curated, guided itinerary where you arrive, you're expertly guided, and you leave changed.

This is one of my favorite things to design. And there's nothing else quite like it.

💬 Has Japan ever been on your travel list? Tell me what draws you most, I'd love to know. 🎋

🛳️The #1 mistake I see first-time river cruisers make has nothing to do with the ship:

😥It's booking the wrong cabin category.

Here's how it happens:

Someone sees an attractive price on a main deck stateroom, books it, and boards the ship, only to realize that the upper deck panoramic suites were everything they actually wanted. And they're sold out.

On a river cruise ship (120–190 guests), the differences between cabin categories are significant, not just cosmetically, but in your actual daily experience.

Upper deck vs. main deck:
✔️different views,
✔️different noise levels,
✔️different access to the sun deck

French balcony vs. full balcony:
✔️one opens the window wide
✔️the other gives you actual outdoor space

Suite vs. standard stateroom:
✔️sometimes 40–50% more square footage

The traveler who understands these differences before booking?
👍Gets exactly what they wanted.

The traveler who finds out on board?
😥Spends the whole trip wondering what the upgrade would have felt like.

This is one of the first things I walk every client through. Because getting it right before you sail is the whole point. ✨

💬 Did you know there were this many cabin variables on river cruise ships?
⬇️Drop a comment! I'm always curious what surprises people!

To every mom out there, this one's for you. 💛

The ones who packed the lunches and remembered the field trip forms.
The ones who stayed up late, woke up early, and somehow kept the whole world spinning.
The ones who loved fiercely, even on the hard days.

You are the reason the memories exist.
You are the reason the home feels like home.
You are the heartbeat behind every story worth telling. 🎶

Happy Mother's Day to the women who give everything and somehow still have more love left to give.

We see you. We celebrate you. We thank you. 🌷

If Portugal has ever called your name , the Douro Valley is exactly as magical as it looks. 🍇✨

🚢Rolling terraced vineyards.
🚢Whitewashed quintas perched above the river.
🚢Small towns that haven't changed in 300 years.
🍷And wine (some of the most extraordinary in the world) poured at the source.

The Douro is one of the most beautiful and underrated river cruises in Europe.

✔️Quieter than the Rhine or Danube.
✔️Fewer ships.
✔️Fewer crowds.
✔️More intimacy.

My clients who've done the Douro often say it's the most unexpectedly emotional trip they've ever taken. Because it's not just beautiful, it's deeply peaceful. The kind of place that makes you breathe differently.

If you're looking for something a little off the beaten European path, still curated, still effortless, still handled end-to-end, the Douro belongs on your list.

✨ I'm currently helping clients plan 2026 and 2027 Douro sailings.
💌 Reach out if you want to know more. I love talking about this one. 😊

Nobody talks about THIS part of traveling with your teens. 👀

I didn’t plan a history lesson. I just booked a river cruise. 🛳️

And somehow, walking through the actual streets of Arles, the café Van Gogh painted, the hospital courtyard where he recovered; my teens were taking it all in without me saying a word.

🚫No homework.
🚫No YouTube video.
✅Just real life, right in front of them.

Then one day we’re back home and my kid walks in and goes:

“Mom. The teacher brought up Van Gogh today and I was the ONLY ones who could talk about him.” 🎨

I’m not gonna lie… I felt that one. 😭

That’s the thing about travel nobody talks about enough. It teaches your kids stuff without them even realizing they’re learning.

If you’ve been thinking about a trip with your teens, save this one. It’s worth it, I promise.

If slow travel has a home, it might be Tuscany. 🍷🌿

🍇Rolling hills covered in vineyards and cypress trees.
👩‍🌾A farmhouse that's been in the same family for 400 years.
🍝Lunch that takes two hours because there's nowhere to be and the food is extraordinary.
✅This is the Italy that most people were promised in their 40s on a rushed bus tour and never quite got.

As a small-group guided experience, Tuscany looks completely different.
✔️You stay in one place long enough to actually feel it.
✔️You go to the morning market because you're cooking dinner tonight.
✔️You drive through the Chianti hills because someone recommended a vineyard not on any list.

And then there's the Amalfi Coast, one of the most dramatic places on earth.

🏠Clifftop towns with painted houses.
🍋Limoncello made from lemons on your terrace.
📷Scenery so beautiful you put your phone away because no photo does it justice.

I design both as curated, boutique experiences. No tourist corridors. No crowds. No cookie-cutter itineraries.
The Italy you actually imagined.

💬 Has Tuscany or the Amalfi Coast ever called your name? Is it the food, the scenery, the history, or all three? Tell me in the comments.

What does a river cruise actually look like, day by day? 🗓️

This is one of the most common questions I get from people who've never done it. So let me walk you through it:

☀️ MORNING
You wake up in a new city. No packing. No transit. Your hotel moved overnight.
Breakfast on board with regional specialties. The cruise director briefs you on the day's options.

🏙️ DAYTIME
You step off the ship directly into the heart of a European town, a medieval square, a waterfront, a historic city center.
Most cruise lines offer 2–3 excursion tiers: classic guided, active (biking or hiking), and independent time.

🌅 EVENING
Back on the ship as it sails toward tomorrow's destination. Dinner features regional cuisine often with wine pairings from the area you just visited.
Evening entertainment, a local expert lecture, or a quiet drink on the sun deck watching Europe go by.

Then you sleep. Wake up somewhere entirely new.
Repeat for 7–14 days. ✨

💬 What part of this sounds most appealing to you? Tell me in the comments!

Some of the most meaningful gifts aren't things. 🎁

🌅They're the moment your daughter sees the ocean from a lanai in Hawaii for the first time.
🍽️The dinner where your whole family is actually present, laughing, reconnecting, no distractions.
⚓Sailing into a Caribbean harbor as the sun melts into the water.

Those are the moments people talk about for years. Not the gift card. Not the gadget.

If you've been thinking about creating a real experience for yourself or someone you love this summer, a trip that actually brings people together! That's exactly what I help make happen. ✈️
I handle every detail so all you do is show up and enjoy.
