π’π‘ INFORMATIVE SUNDAY: PORT DAY 101 β DON'T GET LEFT BEHIND! ποΈβ°
You made it to paradise! π΄ The pictures are giving vacation goals, the shopping bags are full, and that beach cocktail was EVERYTHING. πΉπΈ
But waitβ¦ WHAT TIME DOES THAT SHIP LEAVE?! ππ
Hereβs what every MSC cruiser needs to know before stepping ashore!
β 1. KNOW YOUR ALL-ABOARD TIME!
The ship's departure time is NOT your personal shopping deadline! Be back onboard by the required time posted for your port call.
π 2. KEEP YOUR TRAVEL DOCUMENTS HANDY!
Carry the identification and travel documents required for your destination. Check your cruise instructions before going ashore.
β° 3. SET AN ALARM!
Don't rely on your cousin who said, βGirl, I got the time.β Set your own reminder and leave yourself enough time to get back to the ship.
π 4. WATCH YOUR TRANSPORTATION!
Traffic, long lines, and unexpected delays happen. Plan your return with extra time instead of cutting it close.
πΊοΈ 5. BOOK YOUR EXCURSIONS WISELY!
MSC recommends booking excursions in advance. MSC-organized excursions offer planned transportation and timing, and the ship can be contacted if unforeseen problems arise. Independent excursions require extra attention to your return plans.
π¨ 6. WHAT IF YOU MISS THE SHIP?
The ship may depart without you! You could be responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to meet it at another port, along with any related expenses.
π‘ TERRI T'S TRAVEL TIP: Plan to return well before your all-aboard deadline. A few extra minutes exploring are not worth the stressβor the expenseβof missing your ship!
