In addition to our regular preschool groups, Play and Learn PreK also offers a child centered inclusion group for preschoolers with mild to moderate learning differences. Each day children at Play and Learn are immersed in a curriculum that focuses on exploration and learning through

play and discovery. This establishes a strong foundation for learning and helps children understand and connect with their surrounding. At Play and Learn we foster healthy, conscientious, planet-responsible living. Concepts of sustainability, recycling, reusing, reducing, and conservation are integrated in our daily program and part of our routine.

Looking for an exciting way to spend the summer? We’ve got it covered! Play and Learn invites all curious kiddos to join us for a summer filled with exploration, discovery, and fun.

From water play and creative art projects to hands-on science experiments and plenty of outdoor activities, every day at our camp is a chance to learn something new while having a blast. Our interactive, play-based approach ensures that campers will stay engaged and excited as they explore different textures, media, and more.

Camp runs from June 9th to July 25th, and we’re welcoming children ages 12 months to 6 years. With small group sizes, we offer a warm, personalized environment where your child can grow, create, and make lasting memories.

“It turns out that speaking multiple languages, whether or not you have a diagnosis of autism, is associated with better inhibition, better shifting or flexibility, and also better perspective taking ability,” said study lead author Dr. Lucina Uddin, a UCLA Health Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences Professor and Director of the UCLA Brain Connectivity and Cognition Laboratory.

Children in multilingual households, including those with autism, demonstrate stronger executive functions, such as inhibition, flexibility, and perspective-taking, compared to monolingual peers.
