Brilliant Lady features a slightly redesigned pool deck area compared to her sisters. They've removed the large triangle day beds to create a more open and flexible deck space for passengers. It's hard to notice, but the pool itself has also been made slightly larger.

The entertainment areas onboard the Brilliant Lady are very similar to those found on her sisters, with the exception of The Den. This unique space which has functioned as a mixed use area built on top of its intent as a conference center has been given a single purpose on Brilliant Lady. It's now the high stake casino room.

The Dock and The Dock House are the casual entertainment lounges at the back of the Brilliant Lady on deck 7. The Dock features views of the wake and casual seating with umbrellas. The Dock House is the indoor counterpart that picks up in the evenings with a band stage.

Virgin Voyages refers to its promenade or lifeboat deck as The Sidewalk. This area on deck 7 makes a complete lap around the ship with a passageway through the front and The Dock in the aft. Unlike her sisters she has modifications to this area to enable passage through the Panama Canal. This unique "Panama Mode" involves the lifeboats being recessed into The Sidewalk area blocking it off, but making the side of the ship completely flat.

Virgin Voyages changed up the entertainment onboard their voyages by replacing the traditional Cruise Director Staff with The Happenings Cast. During Brilliant Lady's Panama Canal sailing they broke from their traditions and held a question and answer session, but instead of the captain it was with the current Happenings Cast.

When Virgin Voyages launched they changed the format of what cruise entertainment and activities are. Originally Scarlet Lady tried to do a new kind of afternoon pool party, but it only lasted one sailing before being removed. With Brilliant Lady's Panama Canal sailing they brought back not just an afternoon pool party, but broke all the Virgin rules and even had the behind the scenes people working with some of the Happenings Cast. It was emceed by the Entertainment Director Jimmy Rhodes and featured Abi the Hostess. Later in the event the iconic Virgin Voyages mermaid costume made an appearance with Dulci The Glow.
