I had the pleasure of experiencing this Lodge. It was truly fantastic. The service and the food...exceptional.. No TV or telephone in the rooms so if you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, it is here. The air is crisp and cool and the variety of birds to be seen and heard is numerous.
Poas Volcano Lodge is a stunning and unique mountain lodge nestled into rolling pastures, with breathtaking views of Poas Volcano and the northern Caribbean Plains. The eleven rooms, some with balconies to enjoy the majestic views and others with their own private garden backing onto the cloud forest, are divided between the main Lodge and the outside Garden Rooms.

The Lodge is located on a working dairy farm, on the edge of Poas Volcano National Park, with easy access to nearby rural villages and local attractions.
