How much do you really know about the Oregon District?
You probably know it for the bars, the restaurants, the murals, the people watching on a Friday night. Maybe you've walked it a hundred times.
The buildings along E. 5th Street have been standing since the 1840s and 1850s. The people who built them, ran businesses out of them, lived above them, they had whole lives there. Whole stories. And most of those stories never made it into any book.
Kayla and I have been running haunted events & location tours for over 15 years. We've walked a lot of locations. And what we kept finding in the Oregon District was a significant amount of interesting history. Significant history. The kind that lives alongside the great shops and delicious food and drinks that make this neighborhood what it is today. We love the small businesses here now... and we love the former ones that left behind some pretty interesting stories that still need to be told.
So we built a tour around it. Kayla dug in deep. She researched the whole district, the residents, the early happenings. What she found was more than we expected.
We take you from the 1800s through the mid 1900s, off the beaten path, through the history and the hauntings we've experienced ourselves. Look for us under the arch with our glowing lanterns, you'll know us when you see us!
District After Dark starts tours are most Friday & Saturday nights at 7pm and 9pm, near 401 E. 5th Street.
If you've ever walked the Oregon District and felt like you were only getting half the story... this is the other half.

Wow... we have been to The Waverly Hills Sanatorium many times over the years and Thursday night is the craziest night we have ever had there! It was an incredible night.. we saw shadow figures galore, captured evps and even had great success with some new experiments!

We had some new equipment and our guests brought some great tools as well! 3 guests got to experience the Exclusive Hour and had the building to themselves for the last hour!

We missed you Tina Mattingly and hope all goes well with Charlie. Luna was so sweet!! Till next year Waverly! Thank you to everyone who came out for this one! We have a ton of evidence to review, and are still catching up on our sleep after 24 hours straight of being awake and heading home. Lol

What a night!!! The Old Putnam Jail was such a cool location. Ann Massie & Kaitlyn Marisa joined us for our first night at the jail. We were one of the first groups to come in and start peeling back the layers on this one.
We tried some new things and seemed to get some great responses! We all had a great night, and I'm pretty sure there were just as many laughs as there were spirit interactions!

We had an amazing time with our friends in The Oregon District last night, trying out some new things and getting incredible results! The spirits definitely made their presence known.

- Unguided Investigation - $35+tax
Free roam for five hours. You call the shots. The building does the rest.
- Guided Investigation - $50+tax
You stay with one of our team members the whole night. No guessing, no wandering alone. just a focused investigation with someone who knows this location.
We also haven't ignored the reality of gas prices right now. More price points mean more availability for more people.

We are having a BLAST in The Oregon District!! Kayla Simonton created an incredible tour: District After Dark, down there and we are bringing history back to life...with a few hauntings! We have already had so many wonderful guests, and the business owners, and managers down there are so incredible!
Bonnett's Book Store has been a huge help to us already and we can't shout out his store enough! Go in for the books, learn some history about the flood, by seeing his flood marker, and meet an all around awesome guy. Kevin, you rock!!
If you're looking for something fun to check out on the weekends leading up to fall come see us! We will show you the district in a whole new light!
