🏁 Tinney's Tavern Outhouse Races – March 1st! 🏁
Get ready for the most unique event of the year – Tinney's Outhouse Races!
All proceeds benefit:
- Expedition Yeti: Supporting children's cancer research.
- Folds of Honor NY: Helping families of fallen and disabled service members & first responders.
When: Saturday, March 1st
Where: Tinney's Tavern, Lake Desolation
Signups: Register your team at Tinney's Tavern by February 21st! Each team donates $100 to participate.
Rules:
5-person race teams – the outhouse is limited in size to 8' wide including push bars, 12' long, and 8' in height. No minimum width, height, or length. The outhouse must carry 1 helmeted person sitting on a toilet seat. One roll of toilet paper is required. The outhouse may have up to two persons pulling with a maximum 20' rope. Push bars must be permanently mounted to the outhouse. The outhouse must ride on snow boards, downhill skis, or cross-country skis. If the outhouse has a door, the door must be locked in the open position. One roll of toilet paper is required. All team members must be over 18, the rider must be 18 or older. The racecourse will be a two-lane course with 2 teams racing each other down and back around a pylon. The starting line is also the finish line.
