USA BMX and CTMEETINGS have announced that USA BMX New England Nationals races will return to Connecticut on Friday, July 24 through Sunday, July 26, 2026, bringing amateur BMX riders from around the world. The three-day event will be held at Trumbull BMX at Indian Ledge Park Road. Fans will come watch and cheer on their favorite riders as they expertly navigate jumps, twists, and turns along the track.

“Connecticut is pleased to welcome back the USA BMX New England Nationals to Trumbull BMX and are confident that the athletes, their families and spectators from 34 states will enjoy everything that this region and our state have to offer,” said Robert Murdock, President of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS), the State’s official meetings and sports event sales and marketing organization.

“We love coming back to Trumbull BMX where the local community is very friendly, everyone always feels welcome, and Chris Gombos and his local volunteer club ensure the track is in tip-top shape,” explains Justin Travis, Director of Business Development for USA BMX.

“We are extremely stoked to be hosting the 2026 USA BMX New England Nationals next Summer,” adds Chris Gombos, the Track Operator of Trumbull BMX for over seven years.

“We are so excited to host the 2026 USA BMX New England Nationals in Trumbull,” says State Senator Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox. “Not only is this event an impressive display of athleticism right in our backyard, but we look forward to welcoming the bikers, their families and fans to experience Trumbull and all that we have to offer.”

“We are thrilled to welcome the BMX New England Nationals back to Trumbull,” states Connecticut State Rep. David Rutigliano. “This event not only showcases world-class competition, but also brings families, fans, and riders together in a celebration of community, athleticism, and tradition.”

Great news!!! Connecticut has been nominated in the ‘Best USA Destination (State or City)' Category of the 2025 ITTN Irish Travel Trade Awards!
Agents across Ireland and Northern Ireland are casting their votes now. The award event will take place on November 28, 2025 at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
We are so honored that Ireland’s Travel Trade Network (ITTN) has recognized our state and its hospitality industry in this important way! The nomination comes as a collaborative effort among our industry partners to showcase the Connecticut and encourage Irish people to come visit.

Exciting to attend the grand opening of the new Momosan by Morimoto dining experience at Foxwoods Resort Casino! Japanese Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Foxwoods’ President & CEO Jason Guyot welcomed the large crowd at an event that featured traditional Japanese and Native American drumming, sumo wrestlers, and more. The menu and the restaurant ambiance are amazing! CTMEETINGS President Robert Murdock clearly enjoyed the event!
