🇺🇸 Join Us for the 25th Annual Support the Troops & Honor the Veterans Breakfast 🇺🇸

On Monday, November 2, the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce will proudly host its 25th Annual Support the Troops & Honor the Veterans Breakfast, a longstanding tradition dedicated to honoring the brave veterans who have served our nation and showing our unwavering support for the troops currently serving.

This year's program will feature keynote speaker Brigadier General Thomas G. Olander, Jr., Chief of Staff of the Connecticut Air National Guard, as well as the presentation of the William J. Pomfret Veteran Community Service Award to Paul Mangini and the AT&T Veteran Support Champion of the Year Award to Birdon.

Thanks to the generous support of Middlesex Health, currently serving military personnel may attend free of charge. The cost for all other attendees is $30 per person.

Help us celebrate and recognize those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

🇬🇷 Our first day and a half in Greece have been incredible!!

After a smooth flight, we kicked off our adventure with a walking tour of beautiful Nafplion, followed by dinner at the hotel and some much-needed rest!

Today was packed with history, culture, and some truly unforgettable sights. We toured the Melas Olive Oil Farm, visited the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus and experienced its incredible acoustics, stopped at an ancient beehive tomb, and ended the day exploring Mycenae, where we saw the famous Lion Gate, Cyclopean Walls, and views that photos simply don’t do justice!

And the best part? We’re just getting started! We can’t wait to see what the rest of our Greece adventure has in store! 🇬🇷💙

Last week, we stopped by Main Street Market in downtown Middletown for the ribbon-cutting celebration of The Handmade Hub!

This unique, year-round maker’s market and gift shop showcases handcrafted goods, specialty foods, and one-of-a-kind creations from local artisans, crafters, and farms. With 93 businesses currently represented, The Handmade Hub is a great example of small businesses supporting small businesses!

Last week, we headed to 70 Essex Road in Westbrook to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Hopewell Health Solutions! 🎉✂️

We enjoyed touring their warm and welcoming space and learning more about the services they offer, including their Women’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Hopewell Health Solutions is a wonderful addition to the Westbrook community, providing important mental health and behavioral health services to residents throughout the shoreline.

Congratulations to the entire Hopewell Health Solutions team, and thank you for having us be part of your special day! We wish you much success!
