Wednesday was COSTA MAYA! 🇲🇽🌴☀️ And what an incredible day!

We got off the ship, did a little shopping, and then spent a few hours swimming and relaxing in one of the beautiful pools while we waited for our excursion. And then it was time for something completely different…our Mayan Wellness Experience! 😍

I really didn’t know exactly what to expect, but it was AMAZING!

The purpose behind the Mayan ritual was to help cleanse the body and release negative energy. ✨

We started by soaking in a bath while cool water was gently poured over our scalps as we had a head massage. 💆🏼‍♀️ Talk about relaxing!

Next, we moved into the sauna area where once again cool water drizzled over our heads.

After that, we cooled off with a shower and applied Mayan mud to our faces, shoulders and chest. We relaxed with it on for about 15 minutes before another cool shower to rinse it all away.

Then we headed to this huge tub that looked like a coconut! 🥥😂 We relaxed in the water while getting another head massage as water was gently poured over our heads. It was SO peaceful!

And they saved one of the coolest parts for last. We were wrapped up in hammocks and given a back, shoulder AND leg massage while we were lying in them. 😍 I have never experienced anything quite like it!

The entire experience was so different, peaceful and completely relaxing. It’s one of those excursions that you might not normally think to book, but I’m SO glad we did.

Definitely something everyone should experience at least once! 💙🌴

Okay…let’s talk THERMAL SPA! 😍🧖🏼‍♀️🚢

I honestly had no idea what I was getting into when we decided to do the thermal spa package on MSC Seascape…but I LOVED it!

There is SO much to do! I tried the saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, different showers and even ventured into the cold room. 🥶😂 Let’s just say the cold room was a little too chilly for me, so I didn’t hang out in there very long!

But the heated loungers?! 😍🙌🏼 Hands down my FAVORITE. They were so warm and relaxing that I actually fell asleep! 😂 I could have stayed there forever.

The saunas and steam rooms were amazing too, and it was just such a relaxing way to spend part of a sea day. Between the heat, the water, the quiet and those heated loungers…you completely forget there’s an entire cruise ship right outside!

Most cruise lines offer some type of thermal spa experience, but they can all be a little different. This is definitely something I’ll be looking at on future cruises!

If you’ve never tried a thermal spa on a cruise…add it to your list! 🧖🏼‍♀️🚢💙

Days 2 & 3 — SEA DAYS! 🌊🚢☀️

The first two days were sea days, and we have definitely been enjoying them! Lots of pool time, relaxing, exploring, and just soaking up this beautiful ship.

I’m telling you… Deck 8 is where it’s at! 🙌🏼 The adults-only pool area is amazing and has definitely become one of our favorite spots. Great music, sunshine, and the perfect place to hang out!

The weather has been absolutely beautiful, and the water has been like glass for the most part. 🌊 We’ve also met so many really nice people along the way, which always makes cruising even more fun!

We’ve seen some really good shows, done plenty of shopping around the ship 🚢, and spent lots of time just walking around and admiring all the amazing views.

On Day 2, I had a massage at the spa and it was AMAZING! 💆🏼‍♀️ I always recommend doing something at the spa while you’re on a cruise. We also did the thermal spa package, and THAT deserves a post all its own! 😍 Most cruise lines offer some type of thermal spa experience, and this one was definitely an experience!

We also went to the Silent Disco and had SO much fun! 🎧😂 If you’ve never done one on a cruise, you definitely need to try it!

And the perfect way to end Day 2… watching Wicked: For Good by the pool. 🎬🌊 There’s just something about watching a movie outside, on a cruise ship, in the middle of the ocean!

Sea days are definitely some of my favorites — nowhere you have to be, plenty to do, and lots of time to just enjoy the ship. 💙

MSC Seascape Stateroom Tour 🚢💙 | Cabin 9229

We are in Balcony stateroom 9229 on the MSC Seascape, and I have to say — I am REALLY impressed with this stateroom!

There is tons of storage, the bathroom is a great size, the balcony is nice, and the TV is bigger than most staterooms I’ve been in. …although I don’t think we’ve turned it on once. 😂 When you’re on a cruise, who has time for TV?!

The one thing I would do differently next time — and something I’ll keep in mind when booking my clients — is choose a cabin a little higher or in a different location. Our balcony is directly above an awning that covers the deck below, and it extends out past our balcony. So if someone is standing down there, we can see them…and they can definitely see us. 😆👋

Not a deal breaker at all, but definitely one of those little details you don’t know until you experience the ship yourself!

Overall, we LOVE the room! 😍 And this is exactly why I love experiencing different ships and cabin locations firsthand — it helps me make even better recommendations for my clients. 🚢💙

DAY ONE — EMBARKATION DAY! 🚢💙 A few days late but definitely catching up!!

Our first day aboard the MSC Seascape was a great one! 🚢😎

Embarkation was super easy. We immediately found our Stateroom and did our required muster drill and of course, our first stop after was the buffet for lunch. 😂 After that, we spent some time exploring the ship and getting familiar with everything.

Sail away was SO much fun! 🐬🌊 We had dolphins swimming alongside the ship and jumping out of the water, which made it even better!

We are already loving Deck 8 — definitely our favorite area so far! The adults-only pool, great DJ, and overall atmosphere are such a fun vibe. And I LOVE the Sky Bridge! 😍

The ship has such a cool mix of a European feel with a little New York/Times Square vibe thrown in. There is so much to see!

We had dinner in the main dining room and ended the night at the theater watching Imaginocean, which was pretty good!

Overall, a PERFECT first day! 💙🚢 I’m excited to see what the rest of the week brings!
