It is with great sadness that Nugget went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. His quality of life declined and he was lossing weight. He had a great short life. A rescue friend offered me a baby to help ease the pain. 🙏❤️🐱

Nugget has been feeling good since last FRIDAY! No screaming & no pain. The specialist wanted him on prescription hydrolized protein wet and dry food, metamucil, and prednisolone. If he does well for one more week she wants to wean him off the prednisolone. All weekend he had energy and played with the baby. Here's a video from the weekend...guess he was doing yoga & cleaning his bestie meanwhile shes smiling. 🤷‍♀️😆

We really need the support of friends and supporters of the rescue right now. This is by no means covered by adoption fees.

The rescue's transport van broke down last night at approximately 9pm in Richmond - something to do with the frontend wheels as they locked up and almost flipped Louis in the guardrail.

Not sure if it's Steering, Brake, ABS or Traction Control related. After Louis waited almost 10 hours for a tow truck dispatched by Progessive Insurance, the van was finally towed to our local garage and Louis made it home around 9am.

First we need to recoup the Towing Fees to the garage.

Second we need to cover the cost of a rental van until it is repaired.

Third we need to cover the cost of the repairs.

I know it's tough times but every $1 or $5 will help. Below is the link to our donations page on the website, we can't wait for funds to be released from a Facebook Fundraiser which can take up to 90 days. Every day we are down without a transport van lives will be lost in the rural overpopulated areas we help.
