Bleisure travel: combining a business trip with leisure activities

I have a client that promotes their annual business conference as a family-friendly event. They choose destinations, times of year and reception themes with families in mind. They also promote local attractions to attendees-encouraging many attendees to stay before or after the business meeting to check out the sites on their own.

Stopped by a client’s meeting today. They used the gorgeous meeting space at Longwood University and did the room block at the Weyanoke Hotel across the street. Farmville is a great location for a small meeting.
