Spectacular weekend! Faced a huge downpour while at a local artisan place but it’s always great to shop for cool backroad Amish-made items while it rains. Less rain while our Amish cook made a fabulous meal and we enjoyed the five children. Just when we thought the parade would be cancelled, the sun came through as the clouds cleared. What a weekend to enjoy Ohio Amish Country.

Great times on tour today. Lunch at a dairy farm and got to go out to the feeding barn to see the cows having lunch. Driving past Blessing Acres and saw Tammi and Laura at work on the wagon. Enjoyed seeing the “Amish” zebra/jenny. We’ve being seeing her out the past couple tours. Always a fun time seeing what the backroads have for us.

More than your average black and white Holstein cows! It was an exotic cruise on the backroads of Ohio Amish Country Tuesday night after tour. Since I can't spend the time stopping and shooting these photos, evenings are a great time to go back through the routes and catch these exotics in action. Even ran into a corral of Amish Cowboys getting ready for the Friday night team competition at a local Amish arena. Catch some of these scenes on you next Troyer's Amish Tour.
