We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but judging by the smiles, dancing, and the comments we heard around town, the very first Milton Porch Ramble music festival was a success! ✔️

Thanks again to Visit Caswell County, North Carolina, the North Caswell Community Council, First Piedmont Corporation and all the dozens of other sponsors and Milton businesses that made this possible. And, most importantly, thank you to all those who stopped in to celebrate our small town yesterday. See you next year!

On the trail at the Ramble 🚜

Special Events will be happening on the Trail also during the Milton Porch Ramble on September 26!

Kicking of the music performances at 11 will be Tree of Life, starring ED & DAWN DOUGHERTY. Their flute sounds 🎶 blend beautifully with the backdrop of The Milton Heritage Greenway & Walking Trails. 🌳 Ed also makes their BEAUTIFUL instruments!

PATRICK STEWART will be leading participants in making DREAMCATCHER, 🪶 a craft steeped in Saponi culture. Patrick also delights listeners with his knowledge of Saponi heritage and history.

MICHELLE CARLSEN will be demonstrating CHAINSAW LOG CARVING during two afternoon sessions. Reports are the sculpture will be a bear... 🐻 AND SIMMONS FARM MUSEUM will display two VINTAGE TRACTORS, 🚜 and will have a pedal tractor on hand for the kiddos. Hopefully they will work a little on packed gravel...
